Providence St. Vincent Women's Imaging

< Back to Portfolio

The St. Vincent Women’s Health Center was built in two phases and features the Ruth J. Spears Breast Center.

This remodel project in the existing hospital is well known for its patient-focused programming and high end finishes. Phase I (11,138 SF) included the public entrance, reception / waiting room, physician offices and exam rooms. Decorative art glass flanks the front entrance doors and the design team utilized limestone tile flooring and countertops, along with stainless steel accents and floor base. Cherry wood cabinetry and wall paneling provided a peaceful sense for patients and family and the remaining wall surfaces of the waiting room were custom designed and painted by a local artist. Phase II (7,537 SF) provided (8) additional exam rooms, imagery, physician offices, and staff support infrastructure. Phase II also expressed the designer’s intent to provide a calm, warm patient experience through the use of faux wood flooring in the exam rooms (sheet vinyl) and a soothing color palette.
