55,000 gross square feet, academic facility provides classrooms, engineering labs, collaborative faculty offices and student collaboration space.

Mass timber project for UWT's business school, mechanical/civil engineering, and Global Innovation & Design Lab. The 55,000 SF collaborative academic building houses labs, offices, and shared campus spaces including a student hub and large format classrooms. The design is rooted in Tacoma's historic connection to lumber trades and the Northern Pacific Railroad—exterior brick/metal mediate between the historic warehouse structures nearby, the modern urban context of downtown Tacoma, and the surrounding campus.
