Benson Polytechnic High School Modernization

< Back to Portfolio

The modernization of Benson Polytechnic restores the historic Main Classroom building, Old Gymnasium, Auditorium Building, and Foundry Building. Renovations also include the Gym, Radio Building, and library and health services addition. New construction includes a Commons/central classroom/kitchen addition, 2 story north and south CTE and classroom wings and site improvements. The project features 230,000 SF of historically significant renovation and 135,000 SF of new construction. Internal layouts of core academic classrooms and CTE programs provide adjacencies that promote shared resources and learning that does not currently exist. The design reinvigorates Benson Polytechnic as a national model for career learning-based education.
