Providence Medford Parking Garage

< Back to Portfolio

A 4-level, 608-car parking garage supports a fully operational hospital and planned future expansions.

The 207,027 SF parking garage hosts 608 parking is resolutely grounded into a foundation supported by driven-grouted piling. The building’s structural steel package employs the use of castellated beam construction to support the elevated concrete decks and ramp system. The exterior of the building is neatly wrapped with metal panel assemblies, wound tight with a tensioned barrier cable rail system, and boasts two brick elevator towers standing proudly at the Northeast and Southeast building corners.

Two generation-2 electric elevators shuttle patients and employees to and from their vehicles at the Northeast tower, while the Southeast tower is prepared to accommodate two elevators in the future.

The overall structure is illuminated from dusk until dawn by an up-lighting scheme installed at select building perimeter locations, and exterior landscaping enhances the overall configuration of the garage.
