Construction of a facility that ensures uninterrupted seawater delivery to the Hatfield Marine Science Center.
Includes demolition of an existing pier and intake structure to allow for a new replacement pier/structure within the same footprint. The existing groin was fortified with riprap to prevent erosion due to tidal influences.
