< Back to Portfolio

This 8,000 SF facility is the first research vivarium in Idaho to meet the National Institutes of Health’s criteria for Biosafety Level 2 facilities.

The vivarium includes six holding rooms, three procedure rooms, a surgical suite, instrument prep and cage wash facilities. Construction took place inside an existing building on the Boise State University campus, half of which is home to the Department of Fine Arts and a branch police station.
