Andersen and Seattle Housing Authority have been working consecutively on building quality affordable housing for the past 7 years. Construction is now underway on a fourth effort, Red Cedar, just a few blocks away.

113 new affordable housing units are accepting residents at Hoa Mai Gardens, recently completed as part of the Yesler Terrace Redevelopment. The 150,730 SF project designed by SMR Architects includes buildings in height of 4, 6 & 7 stories. They are connected with two skybridges. Two townhome structures are adjacent to the three buildings, with a 52-stall parking garage underneath. All buildings are wood framed over post tensioned concrete structures. Site amenities include play areas, play equipment, planting strips, and green stormwater infrastructure.
