14-story, 340,000 SF Patient Care Facility houses 146 beds, including a neuroscience/otolaryngology unit, a cardiac acute care unit, two oncology units, an intensive care unit and an eight-room operating suite with space to expand to 12 rooms. One entire floor of the building is devoted to sterile processing to support surgical services. Outpatient practices in the new facility include the Center for Women's Health, oncology and radiation oncology. The project also includes a four-level, 450 car, post-tensioned concrete parking structure with a new by-pass road flying overhead. The tower provides one endpoint for an aerial tram rising from the North Macadam River District. Andersen completed this project in a joint venture with Hoffman Construction.

"It has been my extreme pleasure to work with the crew that has coordinated the major remodeling project for Perioperative Services. This project had many twists and turns and major challenges in that we had to continue to literally operate around the construction. Jim Reel, Tim Sample and Bill Hutchins were ever present, consistent in communications and reliable as the days were long! We counted on them to hear and believe us when we said STOP, and they did! We counted on them to give us the straight scoop even when we wished we didn't have to deal with it, and they did! We counted on them to give us as much room as possible in the existing corridors, and they did! We counted on them to understand the idiosyncrasies of our special areas, and they did! What we didn't necessarily count on was how much we could enjoy working with this crew through a huge rearrangement of people, equipment, and supplies over the course of months. Thank you, on behalf of the entire Operating Room Staff, Medical Staff and patients that were here in the transitional time while we were all under their care."
