Portland, OR This 240,000 SF renovation included two new, 2-story glass building entrances with stainless steel exterior panels and textured green kirkstone cladding. Work included doubling the building lobby size, creating a 1-1/2 story, curved ceiling, with marble and beautiful anigre wood wall finishes. The lower floors were completely demolished and returned to shell condition to accomplish a complete asbestos abatement program, seismic upgrade, and the installation of a new energy efficient HVAC system. The common areas and lobbies on the upper floors were remodeled to include curved ceilings, and wood and marble finishes. Restrooms and elevators were upgraded to accommodate ADA requirements. Building mechanical systems were upgraded, including the installation of two new cooling towers. The basement was converted into a 70 car parking garage |
