The renovation of this 1910-era un-reinforced masonry building upgraded all aspects of this historic facility. The major activities included seismic strengthening requiring several new shear walls and connections, complete new mechanical and electrical systems, a data/communications network, reconditioning of the existing decorative millwork and cabinetry, a new elevator to improve accessibility and egress, and new roofing and flashing systems.
